Responsible breeding, in practice
Every pairing has to answer one question before anything else: will these puppies be healthier, sounder and steadier than the generation before them?

Health Testing
No dog is bred without OFA hips and elbows, a cardiologist evaluation, an ophthalmologist exam, and a complete genetic panel. Results are shared openly with every family.

Temperament
Temperament is inherited and shaped. We breed only from dogs who are steady with strangers, gentle with children, and resilient under novelty.

Structure
Sound movement, correct angulation and balanced proportion allow a dog to live comfortably into old age. We evaluate structure at eight weeks and track it for life.

Nutrition
Dams and puppies receive a species-appropriate diet formulated with our veterinarian. Puppies are weaned gradually onto the food they will go home eating.

Exercise & Enrichment
Our adults live on open acreage with daily work and rest. Puppies receive age-appropriate movement, problem-solving and novelty every single day.

Quality Over Quantity
We plan two litters a year at most. Our girls are given long rest between litters and retire early into homes we have known for years.
The Puppy Journey
Twenty weeks of preparation
The same protocol, in the same order, for every litter we raise.

Pregnancy
Nutrition, gentle exercise and veterinary monitoring for the dam, with an ultrasound at four weeks and radiographs before whelping.

Birth
Whelped in our home with attendance around the clock. Every puppy weighed and recorded twice daily.

Early Neurological Stimulation
Days three through sixteen, following the Bio Sensor protocol, alongside early scent introduction.

Socialization
Household sounds, varied surfaces, crates, cars, children and visitors — introduced gradually and always positively.

Health Checks
Weekly weight and condition reviews, with a full licensed veterinary examination before any puppy leaves.

Vaccinations
First vaccinations and two deworming rounds completed on schedule, with records provided to you.

Training Foundations
Crate introduction, potty foundations, name recognition, gentle handling and quiet alone-time practice.

Going Home Day
An unhurried visit, a folder of records, a scented blanket, and a conversation that continues for years.
